Thailand Showcases Thailand as a Dream Wedding Destination to Wedding Planners from India

Tourism Authority of Thailand in India (New Delhi & Mumbai) in cooperation with THAI Airways International have taken leading wedding planners from India to a familiarization trip to experience the available facilities and outstanding hotels available in Thailand to host grand weddings and functions. The wedding planners will do inspection of world class hotels and resorts as well as tourist attractions.

The Thirty wedding planners have been given the choice of experiencing either of the three routes covering Koh Chang or Rayong or Hua Hin before meeting at Pattaya for a Wedding Industry Symposium. They will also meet and interact with Thai service providers over table top session in Bangkok.

Ms. Runjuan Tongrut, Director – TAT New Delhi, commented: “What makes Thailand unique for weddings is the warm hospitality, proximity to India, world-class hotels, choice of cuisines and value for money and ‘Can Do’ mind set. Thailand has a wide range of destinations to offer for the entire wedding party, although we have noticed there is a distinct preference for the beach resorts.”
