Genting Malaysia has decided to reopen the Resorts World Genting (RWG) from today (June 19) after being closed for past three months. It was closed on March 18 due to the nationwide Movement Control Order (MCO) implemented by Mr. Muhyiddin Yassin, Prime Minister of Malaysia.
However, only Genting Rewards members are allowed to enter into the Sky Casino in SkyAvenue and Genting Club in Genting Grand Hotel due to limited capacity and it is said that public entry into the casino will resume as early as possible.

To ensure the health and safety of all guests and working staff, the Resorts World Genting will also put key health safety and COVID-19 prevention measures of in place. The protocols will cover cleaning & disinfection processes, social distancing measures and the deployment of service ambassadors.
The company said in an announcement posted on the RWG website, “We have re-engineered our processes and developed a comprehensive safety plan in line with the government’s guidelines and global best practices. Service ambassadors are specially trained customer-facing employees who will assist and guide returning guests on the resort’s enhanced safety measures.”
