Singapore Airlines and Silk Air to Resume International Flights in June & July

National carrier Singapore Airlines (SIA) and regional carrier Silk Air will resume few flights to some of the international destinations in June and July subject to regulatory approvals and changes.

SIA said, “SIA and Silk Air will continue to adjust our capacity to match the demand for international air travel,” on Monday (June 1).

SIA also informed through its website that the resumed scheduled services will include flights to Adelaide, Amsterdam, Auckland, Barcelona, Brisbane, Cebu, Christchurch, Copenhagen, Hong Kong, Medan, Melbourne and Osaka.

SIA also reiterated that passengers whose flights were cancelled by Singapore Airlines or Silk Air due to COVID-19 will be able to retain the full value of the unused sector of their tickets as flight credits which can be used to book new tickets for travel up to end of the next year. Moreover, passengers will also get bonus flight credits when rebooking their flights.

SIA said this is their way to thank passengers for their support during these challenging times of COVID-19 pandemic.

Re-booking requests can be submitted through an online form if booking was made directly with the airline. For passengers who booked their tickets through agents should contact their agents for assistance in re-issuance.

In addition to above, the group said that all the key health safety and prevention measures of COVID-19 will be complied properly while operating these international flights.
